No, for someone like me who prefers the raw performance of the GPU above every other factor, especially if you are comparing the RTX 3050 with AMD’s Radeon RX 6600, which has a considerable upperhand over RTX 3050.
The price point of RX 6600 is about the same as the RTX 3050. So unless you do content creation like 3D rendering, video editing then RTX 3050 is the way to go.
Many of the AAA titles that I want to play still don’t support DLSS and when both GPUs were tested with the games that did, these were the performance comparisons that came out.

Good for 3D Rendering?
Normally I’d recommend a more powerful GPU than RTX 3050 if you only plan to use it for 3D rendering ,video editing. But if playing games along with doing other heavy tasks is what you want then the 3050 is the way to go, such as content creation, online streaming, video production etc.
A Win for RX 6600 if Just Used For Gaming
Overall, AMD RX 6600 completely overpowers the RTX 3050 in gaming performance in literally every single game test even with Ray Tracing and DLSS Mode ON.
