Gamers can now migrate their Bethesda games to their Steam Library as Bethesda’s Launcher is to be shut down
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is finally available on Steam after almost two decades since its official release. Now listed as a Free-to-play on Steam, the game has revoked old memories for the players.
As the game’s PC version was available for free, Bethesda’s games are now getting started to be listed on Steam as they announced the shutting down of Bethesda Launcher on May 11 and showing gamers how they can transfer their other games into their Steam account.
Why is Bethesda Launcher Shutting Down?
Bethesda started its own launcher in 2016 to avoid the 30% cut of Steam, but I guess the lack of the PC client’s creativity and its buggy nature forced Bethesda to close the launcher and inevitably making their way back to Steam.
