Austrian-based esports organization, Wave Esports with notable teams in Fortnite and Valorant, has partnered with Red Bull known for its energy drinks.
With this partnership Wave will utilize ‘Red Bull’s infrastructure’ to assist in the development of the organization’s VALORANT roster.
In addition, Red Bull’s support is also expected to help Wave to expands into other titles. Since its creation in 2019, Wave Esports has developed competitive rosters in Brawl Stars and Fortnite, alongside its VALORANT side.
Chief Financial Officer and Head of Partnerships at Wave Esports, Ivaelo Bozhilov commented – “From the very beginning, it was a goal of ours to work with Red Bull. Achieving this just before our company turns 1 year old is a great accomplishment for us and we are very happy that Red Bull believes in us. Looking back at what we managed to achieve throughout 2020 in the competitive scene and having this translate into commercial success in 2021 goes to show that we are definitely on the right path.”

Red Bull has become the second partner of Wave Esports, joining peripherals manufacturer Logitech.
With this partnership, Red Bull added another esports organization to its portfolio, which currently includes the likes FURIA and T1, among others.
Financial details of the agreement were not released.
