Razer, the Gaming Brand has announced online esports tournament Razer Invitational – North America, in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This competition is a part of the brand’s Razer Invitational 2021 season. This follows in the footsteps of last year’s events in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. This event is going to makes its debut in North America on 8th May.
The athlete from across the continent will have an opportunity to compete in a different title, including Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and Brawl Stars. This event is going to be held throughout May to till Early June.
Prize Pool – Involves Gaming Hardware, presumably provided by Razer and upto USD 30,000. The Senior Global Esports Lead at Razer, Khang Thai commented – “Razer Invitational was founded on the simple idea of creating a pure and competitive platform where every athlete has a chance to compete regardless of their in-game rank, their sponsorship status, or their team affiliations.
“It has now grown into a global phenomenon that represents inclusivity within the esports community. After a very successful Season 2020, we continue our vision for esports with an even bigger Season 2021, making competitive tournament play accessible to everyone around the world.”
During the last year, Razer Invitational, enthralled fans across three regions. As per the release, nearly 60,000 people from 22 nations were competed during the events. In this year, the tournament is broken into Three week-long legs, across variety of console platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Mobile. Players can be able to sign up as teams or individuals to win the prize pools.
This event will be streamed via Razer’s YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels.
