Flashpoint, CS:GO tournament series from B Site, Inc., is returning with its Third Iteration.
Flashpoint, the global Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament series from B Site, Inc., is returning with its Third Iteration as an official Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event for the European region. This event will begin on May 10th, 2021 and shall be played out over 3 weeks of competition. It will feature a 16 team double-elimination bracket.

The 11 European teams included are Astralis, Vitality, Heroic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, BIG, Fnatic, G2, OG, FunPlus Phoenix, FaZe, and the former North roster. Open qualifiers begin on April 13th, 2021 and closed qualifiers begin on April 27th, 2021.
Flashpoint 3 is expected to draw significant viewership. As the first step towards the Major in the world’s most talented region, it is projected viewership of over 330,000 peak concurrent viewers and 19 million viewed hours. The excitement is already capturing the attention of Cryptocurrency, Sports Betting and Energy Drink Industries, with Flashpoint engaging in conversations around unique activations.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Flashpoint 3 will play matches online, with the broadcast team and talent working from Los Angeles in the FACEIT studios. FACEIT has been tasked with handling all league operations, rules, logistics, and issues of competitive integrity. The matches will be played in the afternoon and evening of the European time zones.

Flashpoint 2 title was won by Virtus.pro by defeating OG by a score of 2-1 on December 6th, 2020. Flashpoint tournaments in 2020 proved to be among the most popular Counter-Strike events in the world, combining for over 15 million viewed hours and peaking at 280,000 concurrent viewers.
