Misfits Academy conducts recurring competitive series that focuses on identifying the emerging talents of the Industry On Stage, On Camera and Behind the Camera.
Misfits Gaming Group (MCG) has collaborated with the Intel, world’s largest semiconductor chip manufacturing company for their grassroots esports programme Misfits Academy.
MGG is renowned for finding and nurturing the talent on a professional level. MCG has grown some of the biggest Rookies to Creators in the industry to-date, who are well equipped to support next generation talent. With the exponential growth of esports, it’s becoming increasingly important to find the emerging talents at the grassroots to break into the industry. MGG aims to be provide opportunities for aspiring pro players and also to the creatives who play an increasingly important role in the industry as it continues to evolve.
Misfits Academy will focus on key areas of the Industry such as Content Creation, Graphic Design, Video Editing and Competitive Gaming. The Competition in one area will be conducted in Each Month and the winners of the completion will receive a short-term contract to work at MCG in their specialized field.
In January, the first round of competition is held to find the Fortnite Players. The top players have joined MCG and been working at MCG for the past few months.
Graphic Design and Video Editing completion was held in the month of February and the winners have joined the in-house creative team at MGG.
