BLAST Premier a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports league has partnered with Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Coinbase.
BLAST Premier has announced its partnership with cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase as its latest sponsor for the competition’s upcoming Spring Season.
As a part of the deal, Coinbase branding will feature across the Spring Showdown from April 13th – 18th and in the Spring Finals commencing from June 15th – 20th.
Coinbase a cryptocurrency exchange platform that operates remote-first without an official physical headquarters founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, and as of March 2021, was the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States by trading volume.
Coinbase will sponsor BLAST Premier’s ‘The Economy Play’ broadcast segment, which features analysts dissecting and discussing rounds in-between matches. Coinbase’s logo will feature on the caster backdrop, as well as acquiring in-game animated branding and sponsor bars.
As per the Press Release, Coinbase will use this partnership to bring the world of esports closer to cryptocurrency through activations and player-led content.
Coinbase has joined the likes of EPOS, Shikenso Analytics, and CS.MONEY as partners of the esports competition.
